Israeli air raids on the Gaza Strip resumed since the early hours of this Monday morning, resulting in the martyrdom of at least three people and the injury of about 22 citizens with varying degrees of wounds. These attacks come in the context of a series of continuous violations of the ceasefire agreement concluded in October of last year, as occupation aircraft continue to target civilian objectives and movements in various areas of the Strip.
In details of the field aggression, medical sources reported the martyrdom of one citizen and the injury of 15 others as a result of an airstrike that targeted a civilian vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area, which is crowded with displaced people, west of Khan Yunis city. Eyewitnesses also observed another targeting of a second vehicle near the Al-Matahen intersection north of the city, but no injuries were reported in that strike, which caused a state of panic among passersby.
In Gaza City, occupation aircraft targeted a residential home in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood south of the city, which led to the immediate martyrdom of citizen Fadi Fallah Daghmash and his wife. The bombing also resulted in the injury of six other family members and neighbors, who were transferred to hospitals to receive treatment amidst difficult health conditions suffered by the besieged Strip.
Field sources indicated that the attack on the Daghmash family home was preceded by intense and low-altitude flights of Israeli helicopters that did not leave the skies of the Strip throughout the night. This intense aerial activity reflects the occupation's intention to continue military pressure and target populated residential areas despite existing international understandings to cease hostile operations.
In a related context, the occupation forces continue systematic destruction operations of the urban infrastructure by blowing up residential blocks within what is known as the 'Yellow Line'. These operations aim to erase what remains of civilian life, coinciding with the construction of military fortifications and earth berms in more than 40 strategic locations to enhance the Israeli military presence in those areas.
Official statistics issued by the Ministry of Health indicate that the toll of victims of Israeli violations since October 10, 2025, has risen to 1066 martyrs and more than 3400 injured. These figures confirm that the ceasefire agreement has not prevented the Israeli war machine from claiming more civilian lives almost daily in various governorates of Gaza.
It is worth noting that the Gaza Strip is living under the weight of a comprehensive war of extermination that began in October 2023, which has so far resulted in more than 73,000 martyrs and 173,000 injured, in addition to massive destruction affecting 90% of vital facilities. The humanitarian suffering continues amidst the shrinking areas of safe living and the continuation of the scorched-earth policy pursued by the Israeli army in its dealings with residential areas.
The occupation continues around the clock to blow up Palestinian homes and build military sites with earth berms in more than 40 locations.
